Th400 with Ptc 9.5th 15 0 sl is stamped on converter... when N.A. i shifted at 7000 on 2-3 shift, it dropped to 5320 on grid. So when i put the 500 hit to it, any guesses how much will it loosen up on the shift? Was planning on max rev of about 7300...3200lbs race weight, 4.11 gear, 33.5"slick...Thanks

If Hutch is right, and he likely is, that's kind of a sweet spot to me. I want my engine to drop 800-900 rpm on the shift maximum to keep it where I want it in the rpms. I'm assuming you already have a safe run for that jetting?
Never sprayed this converter.... shooting to try Sunday. Dunno if I'll hook it with m/t 3084s high of 63 degrees on Wisconsin
On Sunday I shifted 8k both 1-2 & 2-3..... dropped to 6550 and 6600 on a 34 pill so I'm betting it'll prob be 7k with more sauce. Prob gonna send in for a tightening down the road. Getting an electric shifnoid to put in and shift the 4.5" crank around 7200 or so
