My buddy is looking at buying a Georgia built trailer and I know some had big quality issues. Anybody heard if it’s improved or not?
A guy at works sister and BIL bought one 3-4 years ago and the side door fell off when they opened it at home. 800 miles is a long way to drive for warranty work.

Oh ok I've never heard of them so cant say regarding them. I know some people that have bought georgia trailers and they did well. Ultimately some people treat trailers like a bulldozer and dont care how they abuse them and that will eventually do any trailer in. Fit and finish is a issue with some cheaper ones and some not. My main issue would be what axles they put under them. The rest is just a box.

I’ve had a Cynergy for 3 yrs,no issues. Roof is one piece, side and end doors are tight. Tracks perfect. Just a cheaper trailer. It was $4600. I finished out the inside, and it’s good with me.
I sold a 16 yr old Vintage Bandit, and got a new trailer for less than I was paid. If you’re planning on making a lot of road trips, get a higher end bigger name trailer. These are fine, for what they are.

Well i just picked up one a month ago in Douglass GA from USA Cargo trailers , it was $5750 for a 2021 model 28' , i added $905 in upgrades so 6655 out the door , upgrades were extended tongue $150 which this is a must imo , 48'' side door vs 36'' $125, escape door $50 , 12'' on center floor studs vs 16'' $200 and bar locks on side doors $40 each one thing i like is its a 5 year warranty and you can take it in your state for repair if needed , a lot of companies had either a 1 year or 3 year warranty and you had to take them back to the factory for repair , also a lot i looked at have a 6'' main beams ,this one has 11 gauge 8'' tube main frame from hitch all the way back vs. i beam framing and all the cross members are 8'' as well,1''x1-1/2'' wall and roof studs vs 1'' or z bar like a lot were framed with , so i felt they were built stronger than a lot , there was a lot of little finish things that kinda sucked interior wise but then again i ordered a plain interior just plywood and did it up myself with paint and epoxy floor , the interior things were nothing major , some plywood bulged out here and there from shit cuts and a door was sticking at the bottom but fixed easy with a trim of the wood , screws here and there sticking out , and the aluminum trim around the step in at the side door needed to come off and be cleaned up from the chop saw edges, but other than that it seems like a well built trailer ,if i did it again i'd still use them but i would just say hey look i'm one bitchy ,picky mofo , Not sure if it would matter or not.

^^^^ Friend bought the same exact trailer in white a couple years ago. He wanted it as a base unit.. Little by little added what and how he wanted it Cabinets/LED lighting. Added his 110 as needed. Son is an electrician. Not one complaint. He can do his own work saving some serious $$. Ya the little odds and ends like
you stated. No big deal at all. At the time i think he paid 4900 for it.
It gets the job done.

There are a couple places in Ga that change names every 1-2 years; personally I'd stay away from them for that reason alone.

We had Freedom out of Douglas Ga build our 28' in 2014 and have been very happy with it. They have cheaply built low dollar base models, but they will also custom build with various upgrades. We had them do a lot of structural upgrades, spread tandem, 5' tongue/30" v-nose, 1' taller height, 60" double side door, gen door moved back to 2nd panel, USA made led lighting package, and .040 screwless exterior with 3M panel bond. - Over the years the base .024 and even .030 skins tends to look like aluminum foil that's been crumpled up and stretched back out; especially with the heat we get down here in southern FL.

We had the interior left as just plywood and finished it ourselves to lay it out as we wanted. Side bench over tool box and gen/air, cabinets, in-floor winch, fuel jugs, bottles/bath, 40g water underneath for cooling the car down, 35g of gas for the Onan, rack for pit mat and awning lights, etc. Graphics were a left-over motorhome kit sourced on Ebay.

If I divide yearly total out it sees around 200 miles a month; haven't had any issues.

The roll cart goes out in the pit. Going to mount the dehumidifier up on a wall yet but debating swapping the front cabinet and roll cart locations.

My buddy picked up his Wow Trailer Thanksgiving weekend. 14 hour drive there. He got it Saturday AM and headed home to Michigan. Somewhere in the hills of Tennessee he lost a aluminum wheel and tire. It sheared all of the studs and he didn’t have a spare or tools. He made it about 15 miles on 3 wheels and fixed it a auto parts parking lot.
‘He says it’s his fault, they told him to retorque the wheels at 50 and 100 miles. He didn’t have any tools so he went for it.
‘So far he hasn’t seen any issues with the trailer.

I bought a brand new Stealth about 4 years ago and had a ton off issues with it. After about 2 years of taking in to the dealer for warranty work multiple times I told the dealer to make me deal on a new trailer. He made me a hell of a trade in on an American Hauler. I would say for 20% more the cost on the AH I got 75% more trailer.
