Holley EFI HP boost control - single solenoid?

I have a Holley HP EFI setup I am installing on a 331 single turbo car. Im building this as a street car that will see the track a few times. I am wanting to get a feel for the Holley system before I purchase a Dominator for my actual racecar.

So I am trying to figure out the best uses of my inputs and outputs, since I cheaped out and only have 4 of each on the HP.

As for boost control, I will not be using CO2. I am interested to see if its possible to do this safely with one solenoid- as that uses less I/O's haha. Here are a few examples I found. Which one would you recommend and why? How much wastegate spring do I need to be able to hit 20#.

I think that would then let me run this configuration. Thoughts?

Inputs:
1. Trans brake
2. Driveshaft speed
3. Bump box
4. Davis Traction control

PWM+ output:
1. Boost control
2. Bump box

PWM- output:
1. Cooling fan
2. 2nd Fuel pump

I have the dual solenoid setup now controlled by CO2. After reading this, it kinda makes me wanna convert to a single solenoid system so I could free up another output on mine also. What are the drawbacks of the single vs dual solenoid setup? Will the single solenoid build boost as fast as a dual solenoid setup?
