Fuckheads getting on cruise ships.....

We have three big cruise ships anchored off our port. One has Covid-19 infected passengers on board, one has sick people on board and the other is supposedly clean, but refusing to leave because it's next port has told it not to come.

They have just docked one to get critically ill infected people off the ship and they are offloading a heap of Australians off another one in a day or two.

This begs the question......why are these fuckheads still getting on these cruise liners?

They interviewed a bloke from one of the ships on the radio this evening who got on one a week ago because they were offering cheap deals....he was bitching about being stuck on the ship with sick people.....what did he expect? How dumb are these people?

The local gov here is now talking about getting our special forces to board the ships and use force to make them up anchor and leave.....

there are a couple ships out there that where on 3 month cruises.... not just a weekend or weekly cruise..... could you imagine sailing around the world on a ship for 3 months knowing the shit is hitting the fan on the mainlands, and sooner or later you will need to disembark

I done some remote troubleshooting yesterday and last night one a cruise ship that's been out for ten days on it's way to san Francisco with American passengers.
It was a very high profile case that a ton of eyes were watching. They didnt want to stop at all to fix the problem which required them to shit down all propulsion to make the small repair.
I convinced the captain to stop for 2 hours at 23:30 while everyone was asleep to make the repairs. If they didnt shut down it would have caused a huge issue before the reached port.

The US government has only given then so much time to reach port to offload so the have been sailing full speed.

Why the fuck do they need special forces lmao they are not terrorists, a gas axe three or four tug boats and a polite Fuck off would be easier..

You couldn't pay me to get on a cruise ship today. Carnival is already a rolling riot. Looks like Royal is also tumbling into darkness.

The only hope is these whack jobs only take certain cruise tours, to the carribean, Cabo, whatever. At least I've not heard of rioting, twerking and fighting over chicken nuggets on the cruises to Alaska.

The best way to avoid these "types" is to go on a slightly longer cruise.
Lowlife tend to go on less than 8 day cruises.

You can also avoid scumbags by going on cruises that embark outside the USA [eg Alaskan cruise from Vancouver vs Seattle]
I just did 2 Carnival cruises back to back .One to Alaska from SF and one to the Caribbean from NYC.
The Alaskan cruise had less lowlife on it.

I was in the Dominican Republic talking to some locals [who were black] one of them said to me, "WE hate American Ni**ers" [this was their actual words]

I walked away from the Carnival Caribbean cruise thinking America has gone past the point of no return. I just hope Trump can reverse some of this madness.

Also getting on a flight from Newark was an "interesting" experience

Pretty big difference between the two. For one, you aren’t captive for a week or more with no option to escape at a ball game - you’re there for a few hours. Two, the majority of the people at a ball game are fellow enthusiasts/fans of the team or at least the sport in question, and aren’t there to be entitled tourist douchebag types, so there’s much less chance of an incident. The majority will also be locals, so there will likely be far less cultural diversity with the people there, so again less chance of an incident.

Plus, every sporting event I’ve been to has had a pretty good security presence, and while I’ve never been on a cruise, I’ve heard security is not that good. But I can’t speak from personal experience on that.

I’ve been to a few hundred MLB games and at least a hundred AAA games, never had any kind of problem inside the stadiums, including at the garbage Oakland coliseum.

Fuck cruise ships - petri dishes of infection and disease sardine cans...and fuck big crowds at any sporting event.
You're guaranteed to encounter obnoxious boorish drunks at both and I have had my fill of those sorry motherfuckers.

Literally just got home from a 9 day Carnival cruise to Italy, Greece, and Turkey. No “ghetto” problems. Did catch a head cold on the last day, but I blame that on the ship being 60* to keep all the fat people happy, America has a serious weight problem. Worst part of the whole trip was the Atlanta airport for connecting flights

Salt addiction or just food addiction loaded in salt? the answer is yes.

Just made my first new me meal x3.

6 chicken thighs
1 cup of quick brown rice with chicken broth and a can of diced tomatoes (no salt added)
2.6 ounces of mixed veg.

700 mg of sodium for all three servings, 570 mg was just from the old chicken broth I'm using up.
roughly 125 grams of protein and I'm full.

I'm on a 2400 mg daily limit, might have to plan 4th meal, breakfast was 800 mg due to sausage links.

The primary cause of Food Addictions is Sugars and variants like alcohol [from fermented sugars]
With Sugars I am also referring to simple carbohydrates [flours ,and grain products]

Salt is just a compound. Your body can actually process and make some salts.
The problem with too much salt lies elsewhere [eg; Artery, Kidney and liver failure from years of alcohol abuse.]

In the medical profession it is quite common to directly inject salt compounds directly into the bloodstream without any harmful side effects [Saline Solution]

Whereas in the food industry, they used salt and sugars combined to create addiction to their products [a good business model]
Sodas have salt added to make you stay thirsty, but sugars are needed in large quantities to kill the taste.

There is no good to come from sugars ,it is the acceptable opiate of the masses [Fructose is the Fentanyl of the food world]
The sugar industry has been destructive throughout the world for 600+ years [Colonization, Slavery, Wars etc]
But these problems only started when sugar got refined [by the Chinese] and available to the masses.

Now the shit is hidden in everything. [HFCS is worse]

If you have underlying health issues causing you to cut back on salt, WEAN OFF THE SUGAR also while doing this.
The health reversals are far greater when you cut the sugars [including fruit which is "natures candy"]

I find it hilarious when anyone spews their particular chosen talking point on which food or ingredient or whatever is the one to blame whatever problem on. Salt, sugar, carbs, gluten, lactose, etc.. and all these bullshit diets, and all the doctors and scientists and idiots who say one thing one week and the exact opposite the next. Then there’s the FDA, pushing a food pyramid largely constructed by lobbyists, etc etc..

Here’s something to try: Whatever you eat, eat it in MODERATION. Try it just once, you might be amazed! It doesn’t matter what you eat if you eat too much of it. You can be on any diet you want, but if you eat more calories than you burn off, you WILL gain weight, period. If you eat fewer calories than you burn, you WILL lose weight. Understand how this works? It’s remarkably simple.

Now, eating nothing but Twinkies and drinking nothing but eggnog isn’t healthy for sure, but if you consume them in moderation based on calories in/out, you won’t gain weight. But of course nobody does that. They grab the box of Twinkies and go to town, then eat their second dinner afterward, followed by their before-bed snack. And then they go on twitter and complain about processed food.

This shit ain’t complicated, even though most people try to make it complicated. You don’t need to get stupid, just use some common sense. It ain’t rocket science. But it does require will power, and most people just don’t have it. No willpower + cheap and readily available food of all kinds means FAT.

AMERICA IS ADDICTED TO MONEY so there is little consequences to selling shit products that actually destroy society.

Clearly the food pyramid is not working in the USA [Yet Japan has the same food pyramid but different foods]
Telling somebody to eat in moderation is purely putting the blame on the customer for purchasing their shit products.

It is like a drug dealer saying "you should use less heroin"

Your analogy of Twinkies and Eggnog based on the Calories in/out theory is totally wrong.
From a numbers perspective it is correct but there is biology involved [and the human body always adapts to short term demands /expenditure]

Biologically the human body is designed for self preservation, this goes back 1000's of year to us being hunter/gatherers.
There is zero essential carbohydrates needed for survival, because our bodies can produce the necessary glucose in the liver [called gluconeogenesis]
The body only needs between 30g-50g glucose per day, so when this is exceeded insulin is used to store the excess [as body fat]

So from calories in/out theory if you needed and consumed 3000 calories per day of fats and protein it would be a zero some game.
Now if this same 3000 calories was consumed as pure carbohydrates/sugars you would get 2 things happening
1: a dopamine spike [reward in the brain]
2: an insulin spike which causes carbohydrates/sugar calories to be stored [for later] creating a short term energy shortfall

After you "come down" off your spikes 2 things happen.
You get hungry for more [due to the lack of available energy]
You get lazy [due to lack of available energy]

Dopamine makes you want more and more and more
The human does not want to give up it's stored energy

The type of Food is what makes the person "fat and lazy" [they are actually the victims here]
And the food industry doesn't want to change at all because their business model works for them.[a perfect storm]

I found this little gem for you.
