this is not a fox but its a stang and front fender exit .....this was done with a $100 welder its ugly but i think it will work....is 5 inch from turb to fender

Not a fox body and not quite fender exit. I was going to exit out the fender/front bumper but decided to keep it more sleeper and dump near the passenger front tire. It has a 4" electric cutout that can be opened to dump to atmosphere or if closed exhaust goes through stock exhaust.

 

 

 

thanks guys...my turbo faces forward on the passenger side so it looks like in going to route it out in front of the fire wall behind the shock tower

 

dont have any pics under the fender but it goes over top of the tire and down

You know I don't know. I used to like the white letter but now I hate them. Wheels and tires are coming off and are gonna be for sell. Going back with black 17" and no letters on the outside

 

anyone run their downpipe up through the hood?

 

There was one on here. Fox body with a SBC and it went up thru back at the cowl. Some people say it will burn the paint off the roof right above the windshield

Yea, that bumper cover is caved in for sure. This is what it looks like at the end of the track when you take the actual bumper out from behind the bumper cover. Seen it happen on foxbodies also. That's gotta be killing et's and aerodynamics.

 

What's air borne right above the roof?

There is alot of people who make their exhaust/wg tubes out of aluminium.

Not sure y that would b a problem!

 

i wouldnt do wastegate out of aluminum just because of the heat pre turbo that will come out there. down pipe is different as its not as hot afterwards

awesome setups guys thanks ! since i switched to a turbo LSX and a way BIGGER turbo, im definately going to run a fender exit exhaust..

 

I've had it a couple ways.
Thru the hood

Mini bull horn (with optional bumper caving, before support, LOL)

Most recent 6" aluminum (in the search to make sure I had no downpipe restrictions) Little overkill
