I'm getting close to doing bodywork / paint on the bottom of my turbo streetcar project. I'm running a twin 7675 setup with 3.5" full exhaust hopefully past the rearend. Not a fan of the side exit in front of rear tires. I wanted to get any welding/ cutting done before paint.. Does anyone have a similar setup as this? Pics?

Also, I was going to run stainless down pipes to the trans bell and possibly aluminum back with Vibrant aluminum mufflers. Has anyone done this successfully ?

Thanks for the help.

3.5" Aluminum from trans all the way back. Woolf Aircraft TIGHT RADIUS bends are what make 3.5" over the axle tailpipes possible. We did this successfully on a car with a 9" and 8.8" (8.8 pictures below), both with ARB's. However, neither were mini-tubbed.

Good luck, your build is amazing! I have been following your build thread because I am actually currently finishing up installing twin 7675 CEA's on my car too!

Thanks,

Looks good.
We took my Art Morrison frame and changed the exhaust openings from round to oval. Oval pipe is the only way to run big exhaust tube and still put the car on the ground without any clearance problems. I have 4" from each turbo to Spintech mufflers and 3.5" tailpipes back from there.
