Impossible, OSB is not strong enough.

Aluminum is my choice.

What's wrong with 2 x 12's if you must use wood.

If you're going to use wood, at least use 3/4" Marine plywood for the sub-structure - Marine grade has no internal voids! OSB is pure garbage!

 

Do you know what "3/4 wood some trailers use for their flooring and the ramp like my H&H?

 

'28 enclosed H&H base model trailer.

 

Id say it is most likely a marine grade plywood. A picture of a sketch for what you are trying to make would help

 

I don't know where you are at, but I have one out in my barn complete with hinge. I used it without issue on a trailer I sold. 3/4"Marine plywood painted gray. 4' x 8'. Paris IL.
