Determining dragster rear tire hight requirements, based on rear axle height or other factors?

What determines the proper hard tail dragster rear tire height? As in, we don't want the chassis to drag but is there an optimal rake needed front to rear?

I've gotten a hold of a hard tail rear engine dragster less rear wheels and need some starting point. This is going to be a light weight low power project ( like eventually 300 HP ) just to go play.

Thanks

Yep. The axles are drilled for 5/8" fine thread and I'll be installing fully thread studs as the car currently has drive lugs.

Another fine point. Steel race wheels generally have 45* taper lug seats where regular street wheels have 60* taper. It is critical not to mix the two as this will lead to the nuts backing off. One inch racing nuts are 45* and the only " stock " nut I've found so far is from a 60' Dodge truck which is 1/2-20 thread.
