My only disappointment was Brian saying they'll be no Ls7 version. Higher runner placement is Always better for a straighter shot. But the AFR Ls3 is the hottest thing going OTB in all reality for a reasonable price at the moment.

Why BTR is going round robin with foundry's is beyond me. A call to Brodix and that would have been job one. If Brodix passed, the foundry casting Mast heads in TX I'm sure would do it. I think they are chasing a crazy China level price for A+ castings which isn't going to happen. I put my $$$ on these not coming to fruition, sadly. Their math is wrong, but if you guys are listening, go for the quality and let the price fall where it may. Edelbrock already has the tech and is making a canted LS3 head now. It works good, but not setting the world on fire. GPI was making their own version of same casting and that's now discontinued. The very best $$$ would be adapting stock LT heads to an LS block and packing it. The heads basically bolt on with minor matching, but need a matching cam/intake to make it work.

I personally think it's a waste of time and money to develop these. Their customer base will not be able to utilize the canted valve any better than a good inline valve head. I just don't see this cylinder head being beneficial in it's current form. The packaging is too tight on the LS architecture to utilize a "good" canted valve cylinder head. Look at the dart 10 degree and what had to be done to make it good.
