Thinking about pulling the trigger on getting one of their powerglides. Has anybody ever used or heard anything good or bad about there transmissions? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I've run there transmissions for a long time now, and sold around 20 of them to fellow racers in New Zealand, all without any problems at all, I've got friends that have been running them for the last three years and have taken out the championship for there classes each year running.
You won't have any hassles with BTE and you will be more than happy you made a purchase with them.

If I'm not mistaken, Mr Bill was also the Taylor in Coleman Taylor Transmission shops. If not for Mr Bill there'd likely be no company called PTC (Performance Torque Converters) either. Kenny Ford started working for Mr Bill right out of high school back then. Mr Bill has employeed hundreds of people over the years and has been responsible for many careers. I even worked for him at TCI for a little while years ago. He also owned Memphis Performance. Mr Bill Taylor was a great man and has had a huge impact in the performance industry over the years.

I've got one of their top sportsman glides. It was one of the best values when I was looking. So far it's been great!

I just street drove the car for the first time today. I know the whine is normal at idle from the gear set but it makes some noise when on/off the throttle at lower speeds. Anybody have experience with this to say its normal or no its not?
