Had 2 of them with converters and no issues. Good service and the guys even stayed late one night when i went and picked one of them up and had everything ready from tranny,converter,fluid,shifter and some other stuff i bought.

I build transmissions and I use some BTE products. They are good people and I've never had any issues with any of their products.

 

He was the man who founded and eventually sold TCI before he started up BTE after his no-compete expired.

 

If I'm not mistaken, Mr Bill was also the Taylor in Coleman Taylor Transmission shops. If not for Mr Bill there'd likely be no company called PTC (Performance Torque Converters) either. Kenny Ford started working for Mr Bill right out of high school back then. Mr Bill has employeed hundreds of people over the years and has been responsible for many careers. I even worked for him at TCI for a little while years ago. He also owned Memphis Performance. Mr Bill Taylor was a great man and has had a huge impact in the performance industry over the years.

 

I ordered the top sportsman glide and it was at my door in less than 2 weeks counting shipping to Colorado looks really nice. Waiting on convertor from different vendor. I ordered my convertor before I shopped for a transmission and knew about them or I would have got one from them.

 

This makes me feel good, I just recommended one to a friend of mine. It was at his door within a couple days of the order and their e mail responses were incredibly fast.

 

Have there Pro Mod Glide and it was flawless behind a Bradd Hemi. It is now behind a SBC twin turbo car. Fantastic service and product.

Never had a problem with the powerglide that I got from them. I cant speak of their customer service on problems because I've never had an issue with any product that I have purchased from them.

 

I've got one of their top sportsman glides. It was one of the best values when I was looking. So far it's been great!

I just street drove the car for the first time today. I know the whine is normal at idle from the gear set but it makes some noise when on/off the throttle at lower speeds. Anybody have experience with this to say its normal or no its not?
