got a buddy bringing his nova down for me to put a 2x3 back half in with the tin work.when he drops it off he's going to want a round about price.i know i may have to modify the tubes from the main hoop to the rear of the car.this is going to be a ten sec. car.i'm thinking around $2800 parts included not counting rear end mods.does this sound like a fair price?just don't want to screw anybody including myself! thanks

Sounds like you came to an agreed price you both can live with. If you are doing it in your spare time, you'll have some extra cash. If you're doing it for a living, well.... Anyways, do a good job and you'll get oportunity to do more jobs like this and can raise your price. But for now getting paid and learning aint all bad. I used to do chassis work on the side and used the money to buy shop equipment. Then went out on my own 6 years ago and now there are three of us here total and it is the only source of income my wife and I have. Good luck with your project, sounds cool.
