any FREIGHTLINER techs out there that can help me ?

got a freight liner business class m2 with few faults , sumbitch quit in the road and just cranks , i noticed temp gauge is at 100 deg. and they have been running truck all morning , has coolant in tank , towed to our shop.

im thinking last fault is my problem but i have no clue what to do

i did check all fuse that i know of ( 2 boxes under hood left side near fender)

if ya can call or text that be awesum !

some m2s have the issue of the pdm (fuse box) on the driver side fender, the main harness going from under it vibrates to much and can crack a fuse (wont be able to tell unless you pull the fuse and wiggle the terminals and look thru it), also can cause the wire terminals will come loose under the fuse floor.

Check the PDM connections on the DS inner fender for corrosion. Especially the Green one .
Also check the powetrain PDM down lower on the firewall for corrosion of connections and relays.
More info would be needed, year, etc for better 500 foot diagnosis.

dang i thought i was on to something , thanks tho , got parts coming to fix that , need to know why it wont run , just cranks , that "NO ENG" code i believe is the problem , my problem is im not a truck mechanic but have sum knowledge

i work for the city and have no books on this truck , pretty dumb right , lol , these old guys just patch stuff around here

The "NO ENG" code means that the engine ecm is not communicating on the data link. Most likely it is not getting either battery or ignition power due to a problem in that powertrain PDM with the missing cover. PM me your email and I can send you a schematic to help you. As others have stated check the fuses for power in and out not just visually because they have been known to crack internally.
