Whats going on there. Had a friend of mine just tell me yesterday that they got rid of almost everybody in the shop. His girlfriend worked in the sales dept there. GOt rid of fab guy lots of shop people and lots of office people. Doesnt sound good for them. Its a local chassis shop to us. Must be hurting to pay bills, deliver parts that are paid for already and wont refund money from the way it sounds.

Was just asking if anybody else had heard anything about what was going on. If he stays in business or fails thats on him. NO rumors on this trashy website is going to keep him in our out of business.
I have not had any dealings with him. Some friends of mine have and their stuff came out fine but it was minor chassis work. Setup a car etc. No real fab work. ONe was just a strut front end add on on a chassis car.
IF he fails he fails if he succeeds he succeeds. From what Ive heard its just another shop that got to big for their britches our did not manage money well. Combination of both. Feel for their chassis guy. He just moved his family from NEw Zealand a little while ago and now had to move back.

Let me set you all straight. Amrc sent all of the staff home one Monday. There was the IT/parts guy, the composite girl and the fabricator, the guy from NZ. That's all the staff they had and they fired them all in one day. The NZ guy was told there was no money to get paid.

The owner is a major narcissist. Blamed his staff for everything. He was getting paid for jobs and spent that money to try and pay for debts he was behind on. He's behind on jobs but will tell his customers that everything is OK. He gives customers quotes then turns around and charges them a ton more because he needs the money.

The composite girl was being sexually harassed by the owner and his father. Inappropriate comments, jokes and gestures. She was constantly told that she was stupid, dumb and couldn't do anything right.

The IT guy practically ran the workshop. Without him they won't be able to do anything in the office. He did it all. When the staff were told to go home, the owner begged him to stay but he only stayed for 2 days. He had enough of all the abuse by then. He was also constantly told he was lazy and not pulling his weight.

The fabricator from NZ got thrown under the bus for a couple of jobs that went wrong when it was the owners fault. The owner has no clue about car mechanics and the guy from NZ couldn't believe that he had made it 19 years owning his own business. He can't pay his bills so I'm not sure how he's still in business.

The guy from NZ had to leave the country with his wife and 2 boys after it was made clear he wasn't going to get paid. He had no choice but to leave.

Everybody did know there was money problems. They weren't stupid. The NZ guy had no choice but to stay because of his visa. The other 2 found much better jobs straight away. It seems it doesn't matter what I say, you just want to pick a fight and not listen when someone is telling you the truth. Keep your head in the sand if that's what makes you happy.
