Well guys ive posted my combo on the LS section and N/A power section now Im here. I picked up a real clean x grudge ss camaro last year as a roller. This car is real clean and has low miles on it and its a real ss . It used to run a 416 inch LS3 on the hose and used to run low 9,s high 8s. This car was very well known at milan drag way . The plans were to put together a truck block 6.0 and run a turbo on it, its a proven 1000+hp combo .But after seeing basically every thing Fbody go through the burnout box for the last 5 years with turbos on them I thought I would change (NO offense turbo guys) The plans were to get a lsx tall deck and cram the biggest stroke crank in it that I could find and then stuff a 4.250 bore piston in it (506 ci) . And then spray the shit out of it after that. After going over the build with my engine builder he tells me that N/A combo would be fine and that should throw down low 8 second passes as long as i could get the car under 2800lbs.But it wouldn't be good for a spray motor cause of the lack of gasket in between the cylinders so we dropped the bore size down to 4.185 and 4.5 inch stroke (495ci). The motor i have now is a 13.5 to 1 lsx . LSX tall deck, callies 4.5 inch stroke crank, k1tech billet rods, race tech 4.185 nos pistons, CBM LSX LS7 HEADS flow over 400 @750, fully ported holley hi ram , 2 1050 ultra dominators, comp solid roller with over .800, total seal ap rings ,king, ati, arp, msd, etc......then a Nos 2 stage fogger 300 and 300. 6 total. The car has all the good stuff 40 spline 9 inch all the good components up front and back. My plans are to minitub the car and do a full moly cage and get a bigger tire under it. I will post more pics of the chassie build. This car should be done in a few months , should have already been done.

Plans are getting carbon fiber doors that a member on here sells .

that's a lot of stroke in a stock cam height block. going to be tough to get that stroke in there with a large enough base circle cam so that it doesn't twist with higher spring pressure.

good luck with the build

I guess (NRE) Nelson racing engines has done quite a few 4.5 inch stroke LSX,s with no problems so I hope I dont run into any major problems.
