Summers Brothers made axles with the 44 spline a long time ago. It is a 32 pitch spline that has a 1.375 (1-3/8" diameter). That was before the 33 and 35 spline became the common spline to use with a spool. I think Summmer in manly in the off-road market now. They are a verry good quality product. If you have limited power and the maiting spool they would be usable parts.

I have a set of those big 12 bolt axles and a spool in a camaro. Cool stuff for sure. Summers Brothers both passed on..leaving the company to its employees in which it failed and was bought by the current owners. I know the current place doesn't cut or respline axles.
