Project Camaro SS480 LQ4

Just wanted to share the build i've been working on. Its a 99 Camaro SS Had a Cam only 423whp through the 6 speed last year then in Feb i started the LQ4 S480 TH400 Build Very close to running
Motor is a 04 LQ4 out of a Denali
TU2 Cam, ARP Rod Bolts, ARP Head, LS9 Gaskets, 2.5 Bar Map, SD, LS6 Intake, BBK 80MM TB, SLP Double Timing Chain, SLP Oil Pump, Powerbond Pulley, -8Feed, -6 Return, Fast Fuel Rails, 875cc injectors, Twin 255's, Borg warner S480 Turbo with Batmowheel Race cover 96mm 1.32ar (True Divided Housing/Twin Scroll) Tial 50mm BOV, Twin Tial 38mm Wastegates MVS, 31x12x4 Intercooler, Schedule 10SS Hotside, Stock Truck Manifolds, SJM ABS Delete and Line lock, Moser 12 Bolt Spool 33Spline Axles, 1/2 Moser Studs, Wolfe Anti Roll Bar, Strange Chromoly Driveshaft with 1320s, Billingsly Panhard bar, LCA's all Rod Ends, SLP 3 point Subframe Connectors, Spohn Adjustable Torque Arm, Trans Specalities PRO MOD SPRAG Th400 RMVB with a brake, ATI 9.5 Converter............

Doing the same build, goodluck with it plz keep posting your updates.. I alrdy have the engine soo gonna go from here.. But got the engine out of a pickup.. These engines seem like they can hold up..

First time i pulled the heads off the LQ4 was a little shocked to find how nasty it was for 105k on it but cleaned right up

All of this hotside was Schedule 10 SS and the entire Kit with Turbo Brace is only 16lbs

So this is where i'm at on it some finish welding and the hood latch and i'll be driving it................

No its 2.5" Schedule 10.....Manifolds are 2.5 also

Sch 10 2" ID is 2.375
Sch 10 2.5" ID is 2.875

I used the 2" on my log manifolds.

Nominal 2.5"

OD 2.875"

ID 2.635"

Wall 0.12"

Either way probably doesn't matter much we have it set up for twin scroll.

Shit! Yep you're right. I was looking looking at the wrong numbers. Shouldnt make a much of a difference spool wise.
