My Buddy Harry got into the "final 16". 16 out of 467 aint too shaby! he tree'd the guy and then the car fell over in top gear... It was a good time none the less!

i think they just kept matching people up and running them each time. there was a couple old quick 8 e-town cars, i seen guppy win twice, verilli won once...

From what I was told, two of the Quick 8 drivers each put-up $2500 and ran against each other just for the fun of it. Well, whoever got the $5K certainly had fun!

pinks runs the "quick 8" where they pick the fastest out of the regsitered cars (8.40's) e-town put up 1000 for that, and there was a personal bet for a couple g's.

The other guys (lamber, vretto's newsham, lynch etc) were all doing this for fun. The idea was to get the turbo cars there to see the normal fan who doesnt know about the e-town shakedown to see what exactly goes on. Too see The fastest radial and outlaw 10.5 car for your first time aint too shabby

Sorry, I meant that the 8.50 guys that were there doing fill-in runs did this $5000 to win race. It was only between two drivers, just a side bet that they each put up.

They (PINKS) had a Quick-8 of their own.
