Stock suspension 2000 mustang. Was talking to a couple racers and a chassis guy and was told attaching the lower control arms together would do the same thing. Was told it's just like a swingarm. Both sides would have to do the same thing. Any info would be great. Thanks

I do not think that it would work as well as an ARB. An ARB you can adjust to get the car to launch perfectly straight, with the X-link you have no adjustment at all.

By tying the two lower bars together with an "X", all that does is prevent latteral or side-to-side movement of the rear end. This is another method of doing the same thing that a diagonal between the heims of the lower two bars or wishbone locater does.

Add an anti-roll bar.
