Starting slowly on a new 78 Malibu, and want to make it a dual purpose vehicle. Bracket car, but also keep it legal to race the local 10.5 series'. Most of the series here allow ladder bars as long as you keep the stock framerails.

Would you run ladder bars if you were allowed? Or do you feel the stock type suspension is superior? I've got a G-body bracket car now with all TRZ rear suspension and it works great, but it's also quite a bit more pricey than the ladder bar suspension we put in my brothers A-Body.

As a bracket car, I wouldn't expect to run any quicker than 6.0's. Just wanting to make it a little easier to sell in the future.

I remember about ten years ago you couldn't give a S.S. car away. Times change and so it is as what people what...
