I am putting together a 565 bbc. A friend of mine has a set of new Ross Pistons that I can get cheap. This is going to have to be a budget build for me and these fit the bill for that. They are actually turbo or blower pistons, so the compression is like 10:1. I am planning to just put it together and put spray on it for now and would like to switch it over to turbos this winter. I have always used JE Pistons in the past with very good luck. I know their are better pistons available. I just don't know anything about the Ross stuff for fairly high HP.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I have a set in my motor. They were as nice as any JE or Wisco I have used in the past.

I think that any good brand name forged piston is good for most applications...

I had old forged SRP pistons in my last motor, 10.5.1 with a 300 shot and they looked great when I pulled them. It was a 468 BBC that was shifted at 7k.

Great Company with an even better product!!!

These guys are the best when it comes to paying out contengency money. A few years ago after runnering-up at a NMCA/PRO Race, the check almost beat me home (We took the next week off after the race and went to Disney World).
