Will this save Outlaw 10.5?

Texas King of the Hill came up with a new set of rule last night to try and increase car counts at the events.

I call it the GMAC rules, it is no secret that Grant has found the combination that has put him so far ahead of the competition that no one else wants to play in the sand box.

So they voted and here is what is happening and in effect at the next race.

Nitrous cars will get a 100 lb weight break (2900 lbs)

Turbo cars add 100 lbs (3100 lbs)
Maximum size turbo will be an 88 MM

Will ORSCA follow suit? It seems that the two organizations have always shared rules so everyone would be legal.

He is your chance to voice your opinion, speak now or forever hold your peace!

i agree with the wieghts, kinda, but the 88mm is stupid
My ? is what if the 88 dont slow the turbo guys down any, does that mean more rules changes.
This is too funny.

All of a sudden these big bad OUTLAW guys need weight breaks and weight added to turbo cars, and turbo size limited.

Thats so outlaw....
Outlaw is outlaw racing and hope you brought enough. I'm not saying that this is not fair but, I was always told that if you couldnt run with the big boys stay at home or jump down a class. I may be wrong but I'm not sure if this will help the car count we will see I guess.
I think Outlaw 10.5 is a dying breed myself.

The ADRL X10.5 format is the final frontier for the 10.5 tire.
I just see more guys going to ADRL and outlaw 10.5 simply dying.
Maybe Kenny Knowling will make a nitrous XTF class so the nitrous guys can cry about each other. :) Oh wait, that wont work because BG will still drag them down the track.
have your nitrous class

Well it looks like we will be running all orsca next year, we are not going to change our combo up to make KOTH happy. Hopefully Orsca doesnt change too.

Well theirs one car out of the mix, lets see how many follow. Like I said I think car count will be the same if not worse .
I believe the cost of racing these days and the poor economy has a greater effect than one person' performance.
Interesting. Guess the racers who are paying members of KOTH didn't get to vote? Honestly, it helps me because I get to weigh 2900 but I feel a meeting should have been called.
And Drag radial will follow the same path!! Times getting lower and lower tire size seems to keep getting bigger LOL!! The tires are just as big at a 10.5W the 325 at least arnt they LOL!! And pretty soon you will need to run 7.1s to 7.3s to compete!! And that isnt cheap in a 3100 to 3400 pound car!!!

I agree with you as well but some people think I dont have a clue on what Iam talking about.:)

The "final frontier" is to go back to the way it was with no tube chassis cars.

What is Grant's current combo? Twin 91's?

Even with single turbo's and blowers the time are going to continue to escalate. Despite the fact that in flys in the face of "Outlaw" dropping twin turbos from the class would probably be a good idea for its future.

Lots of organizations rules say "single power adder only", just declare that the second turbo is a second PA. (Maybe allow "twins" on V6 entries.)
Is ORSCA trying to slow down Lynch does anybody know.
I think these rules arent bad for local series. With the big events and the big moneys you cant do this
