I got my trans all finished the other night and all I needed to do was install the cooler line fittings in it. I installed them by hand as far as they would go(1/4 of the way). Then I went to use the ratchet on them and one fitting seized up at halfway. Then I put some muscle behind it and broke the port completely off the block. I still haven't figured out why the fittings froze up like that. I've used those same fittings in 4 other TH350's. It didn't crossthread and the threads weren't dirty.
I found a new case, but it's a BOP+Chevy combination TH350C(MX2). Will that work with all my 350 parts? Also my ATI valvebody says it's a Chevy model and I see a separate model for BOP+Chevy models. Is there really a difference to be worried about? Thanks for you help.

That sucks. I just wasted my time cutting the case for the ultrabell and planning a trip to the next town to have the case cleaned. I guess I'll ask around for a 350 case while I'm over there tomorrow.
