It came to me today who Jeff Naiser is. I remember talking to Brian Self this winter and he was talking about him. I know Im slow.. But didn't these guys call Glidden out? Did Glidden ever answer? I heard they wanted to race @ 3000#'s.. Sounds fair to me.. Both cars are clutch cars, on 10.5's and nitrous small blocks!!! They are both about the same CID as well... Seems fair right? I had respect for Billy till his last post here saying everyone at Milan is slow!!! WTF was that? Lets see they run 7.40's at 3000# he runs 7.0's at 2400#'s!!! add 600#'s to that and 6/10's in ET!! Thats a 7.60 and that is exactly what Jim Monson ran on his first full hit with his car with a 100% home built automatic car!! Are the cars at Milan slow or is Billy scared to show his real hand and race at race weight?

It would be easier to add 600 #'s and it would be to take it away.. So its Billy's card now..

Dave (PeeWee) Merideth is the first nitrous 10.5 car to ever go into the 6's 4 years ago. Everyone complained that his car was a ex-Pro Stock car and not a "legal" street car!!! He sported a SBC as well!!! So if Billy was to run a 6 second pass it has already been done 4 years ago at a 2600#'s!! So to go 6's at 2400#'s has been done with 200#'s of ballast 4 YEARS AGO!!!!

But like I said.. 7.0's + 600#'s = 7.60's and thats what Jim Huber ran for 5 years straight pass after pass with automatic trannies... :-D Huber would have went 7.40's with a clutch!!! :WGAF

Im not baiting!! Im stating facts now!!!

Fact: Dave Merideth was the first 10.5 car in the 6's with a 6.99 @ 198 MPH!!

Fact: Todd Moyer, Tim Lynch and Gil Molbey have all went quicker!!!

Fact: If the weights were evened out.. there is no way in hell Glidden could keep up!!!

Fact: If he was to run at legal weight he couldn't compete with any of the above and wouldn't have qualified for Orlando.. << maybe the reason he wasn't there...

Fact: I stir more $hit on the internet than anyone!!! :-D

Maybe but I remember reading people complaining it was only 2600#'s and a full tube chassis car. Someone may have called it a pro stock car for the full tube frame... Does anyone have a picture of that car? It was around a 199x red Firebird the best I could remember...

Spoke to Brian Self (Lump) to see if Naiser was up for a race with Glidden still. Well guess what? He said "Let me let you talk to the man himself" Talked to Jeff and he said he is still ready to run Billy but Billy wont run him!! Jeff can't get the car any lighter than 2900#'s!! So now the ball is in Gliddens court!! These two cars are pretty much exactly the same. So why would Billy need a 500# handicap? He is the baddest on the land by how he talks to people!!!

Damn I thought he was a straight up guy too!! until he put himself above everyone else who races anywhere besides the places he is legal to race at (Milan and NSCA)

i saw jeffs car run in person at a KOTH race in dallas... i'm not but about 5 hours away, and this thing is impressive. i don't know because it's not my car but i heard somewhere jeff said he couldn't get it much lighter than 2900# like monty said. all i know is when you're beating up on 706's with 3 kits at the same weight with a little 420 something SBC you're doing something right IMHO!

Guys..... c'mon now.

I might have been born on a Saturday but not LAST Saturday!!!!

I'm looking at Naisers car, and that thing will go 2400 if need be. It has a complete firewall back tube chassis, no unibody structure left anywhere. Has Lexan windows and a completely aluminum floor from the rear to the firewall. for all intent it's a full tube car with lexan windows. If that can't go 2400 with a small block, then nothing will.

Actually from looking at these pics, I don't even think it's a rear half car.... looks like a full tube from the little I can see in the front..... There ain't no way that thing can't get down to 2400. Mine weighs 2775 with me in it, race weight and I have all steel car with stock floors and trunk, windows etc etc etc .....

When I see some bolony I gotta call it!!!!!!!!!!

The lightest I can get my car is 2865#'s. Thats a 100% aluminum SBC and autotrans. This guy has a lenco in it.. heavy @$$ stuff!!! With the ballast out.. the car % at 59% nose weight.. The man said 2900#'s and thats what he will race at. A lot eaiser to add weight than it is to remove it.. Remember Gliddens car is got a lot of carbon fiber goodies on it..

Monty I don't care if he gets on here himself and says it won't go under 2900 I say Bull-Ony..... Dude the thing is all lexan, full tube chassis aluminum interior.

You say your car won't go under 2800 with all that aluminum for flooring? Man you must weigh about 500 pounds or something.

Chris my car is 100% gutted!! The 1967-1969 were a lot easier to get light that the 2nd Gen cars are.. You are more than welcome to come and find a place to save weight in the car.. Shoot I'll even give you cash to do so.. Besides the carbon fiber stuff.. Remember these are nitrous cars not NA cars.. 40 spline axles, extra bracking so the car doesnt snap in 1/2 and 2 25# nitrous bottles.. 2865 with me in it.. Im 185#'s... :-D

I see you still race on the boards, and tell all who will listen how fast you will be some day????? I gave Jeff the chance to race against me at the FFW race this year at Houston, he declined. I will say this, I have been called out by folks to race them, read this! they called me! So since you all are so willing to call me out, then race me as you called, do not ask me to come and make changes, as for the carbon goodies, I have carbon doors, and carbon brakes, fibre glass hatch, lexan windows, carbon hood, and scoop, most of this is standard in the industry, and anyone can get it, stop being so willing to cut your racing peers down, if it weren't for us who actually race, you would not have anything to talk about, hehehe!!! As for engine sizes, my biggest engine is 413, cast manifold, single four yada yada...... Jeff has a hybrid only a few made in between small block, and big block, as for the true size of it??? Who really cares, he still runs quick, I am the one who has a very nose heavy car, 58% and this is at a much lighter weight, since it looks so easy, then why not give it a shot monty? On second hand, you should stay right here where you belong, you can run as fast as you care to type, and never hurt anyone else in a physical way. Now how much fun is all this crud? Not really all that fun, we do try to survive at this job. Thanks BG.
