Gates open at Noon Central time....

Rules

1. Door cars only * Heads Up * 400 Pro Tree * 1/8 mile * Race Entry fee of $100 will be collected at the gate * Total entry fees collected will be paid out as purse. * Wild Street will park and be teched in the oval track area. * Two qualifying sessions will be run and cars will then be placed on a pro ladder.

2. Tire size limited to 28 X 10.5 non W slick or 275 X 60 drag radial or 28 x 11.5 et street.

3. Power adder is limited to one stage of nitrous on plate or fogger, if fogger is used an additional 50lbs. must be added. If car is equipped with 2nd kit it must be capped off.

4. Cast intake only.

5. 4 link or ladder bar cars allowed. Coil overs are allowed, coil can be moved inward for tire clearance. Mini tubs are allowed. No whellie bars. Stock firewall and factory front frame rails are required.

6. Fiberglass is limited to hood, bumpers, and deck lid. Lexan windows allowed.

7. Must have stock appearing interior with two racing seats.

8. Rear wings allowed.

9. Small block N/A - weight with driver 2600

Small block NOS - weight with driver 3000 with non conventional heads * 2900 with conventional heads

Small block with Turbo up to 88mm - weight with driver 3300

Small block with blower - weight with driver 3200

Big block N/A - weight with driver 2800

Big block NOS _ weight with driver 3300 with non conventional heads * 3200 with conventional heads

10. One carb only on NOS combo's.

11. N/A cars must add 50lbs. for additional carbs. If sheet metal intake is used 50lbs. must also be added.

12. No reducers in the turbo true size only.

13. No boosted big blocks allowed.


Correction:
No scales and 29.5 x 10.5 non w max tire size. All other rules
apply.

Just going by what the schedule says for the Oct 29th Wild Street race.... Unless u r certain it does open at 10? http://beechbend.com/dragschedule.htm
But I'm hoping for a good turnout as well....

They should be open by 11 at least, last weekend they had cars going down the track at 11:30....but the schedule does say noon, idk typo maybe

I ran 29.5 slicks when I ran. Seems like a 315 radial migh be allowed since it's equal to 29.5's.. but I can answer that one.
Old rule was 28's or a 275 radial

Yea I copied the rules from the beech bend website, which apparently needs to be updated... The corrections r changes I was told... Sry for the confusion... I'm trying to get clarification now....

The rules that are posted is what they will go by other than no weight
requirements and you are allowed to run up to a 29.5 x 10.5 non W
slick. According to the web site gates open at 12pm cst

Greathouse v Webb, 4.922 wins it for Joel, Bobby had it sideways and pedaled at 70 ft, lifted..
Jude v Pickerill, 5.525 beats a 5.88... Pickerill popped a wheelie, came down, and it came up again and lifted...
Patrick v Dustin *****, 5.288 for Patrick ...***** broke at hit....
Preston v Johnson, 5.409 to a 6.17 red, Preston wins but a lil smoke at 330.....
Stinson v Keown, 5.13 to a 5.76, Stinson wins carried one wheel past 150 ft... Keown lifted at 300 ...

Round 2
Jude v Stinson, Stinson goes 5.14 red, Jude pedals with three quick jabs at the throttle, after 100 ft, rotates the car a bit, takes out a cone and crosses the line...
Patrick v Preston (Brake Bye) darts to tree, hits again but let's off...
Greathouse v Bye, 4.910

Round 3
Greathouse v Patrick, Patrick leaves on Joel, Eddie wins.... .066 to a .209 rt, 4.99 beats a 4.89..... Patrick has a 1.15 60 ft...
Stinson v Bye, Stinson takes tree and Coasts...

Wild street final
Stinson v Patrick, Eddie Red lights, Stinson runs a 5.12

BTW Sam Vincent seemed to have very tough luck today testing at Beech Bend.... Personally seen him get down the track today, and on his attempted last pass, he had to get pushed bach from the water box, heard it may be a lifter problem.....

Sorry, still getting used to my new phone and its auto correct lol....... BTW Sam Vincent seemed to have very tough luck today testing at Beech Bend.... "Never" personally seen him get down the track today, and on his attempted last pass, he had to get pushed "back" from the water box, heard it may be a lifter problem.....

Damn he has been having hell with lifters! That's why my ass will not be running a 1" Lift cam!
