I thought this is an interesting article and describes an awful lot of what we see now. I grew up as an Ehrlich “believer” and am still embarrassed I put my trust into one “expert”.

...[the experts] “got worse as they accumulated experience and credentials in their field. The more information they had to work with, the more easily they could fit any story into their worldview.”

We know how that is. Getting warmer, MMGW; getting cooler, MMGW; staying the same, MMGW.

A lot of the "cool kids" in high school who were experts at getting laid all told me I would never get laid.

It took me 20 years but I eventually proved them wrong. ;)
