What have you compared it to?

Good question . Never thought about that . All I know is .... it drives great and makes a ton of power for what it is .

I'm just curious why people have told me its not supposed to work well on a turbo set-up . But this cam was designed especially for my set-up .

I know nothing about cams , so can someone tell me what makes this cam a " turbo " cam if its got such a tight lobe sep ?

The only thing I have to compare it to is I was running a D1SC on the same motor at the same boost but a blower cam from comp .
The S480 and new cam went almost a 9 tenths and over 10 mph faster .

I know its all about effecincy between the two blowers , but the cam had to have a say in it also .

The LSA is narrow compared to a typical turbo cam, as you know. You can't make any meaningful comparison re: the cam vs. the switch from a blower to a turbo. If you swapped for a more conventional turbo cam you would have data. As posed your question isn't answerable.

With a 1.1AR I suspect more exhaust duration and a wide LSA would be better. But it's just a guess.
