Just bought I get your guys opinions and the most feedback before I pull the trigger

I have a stock lq4 right now with stage 3 tick cam, head studs, springs and gaskets. Car has a th400 and will have 3" piping and big air to water ic.

Car will be built for drag purpose with occasional street time

Right now motor is sock I plan on pushing 800+ Rwhp and when it pops build a 370 with rods and pistons

I have my eye on a gt5588 .90 ar....a gt4788 ar?....forced induction budget 91 ar?

I don't ever plan on going over 1300rwhp but would like 1100 at least down the road

Thoughts and what at?

Depending on the budget, go GT50-88. Best unit out for the money right now. Spool faster then the GT55, no back pressure problems like the GT47 and super durable. 1200rwhp would not be a problem with the right parts.

$1,600 is the most I want to spend

Dr turbo how about your new budget 91 with the 97 wheel?

Sorry not size limited for space, I have alot of room with my radiator being mounted tilted Into the front bumper

What's the hp rating on all of these turbos mentioned or that I have mentioned? Like I said for now around 900-1000hp fly but down the road in a year or 2 1500-1600hp fly wheel. I'm trying to kill 2 birds with one stone and I know that's hard to do so times

Ya when I build my motor I'm looking for 1500 fly give or take a 100. So I think the s480 will be to small

Does the gt5588 go buy a different number or name? I can't seem to find anything about this turbo specs wise or people's reviews. Seems like a turbo not talked about much

Because the proper model number is GT5518r.

The GT50-88 would meet your goals.

I type in the gt5518r and I'm seeing the gtx with 11 blade impeller the one I'm looking at has like 6
