short run down...running n/a with my 632,big duke heads,tunnel ram 2 dominators..1200 to 1250hp is my guess...last time i ran it n/a with a 5100 nitrous converter with no flash when i let off the brake it went 5.65 with a 1.32 60ft on 32in slicks,4.10 gear,1.80 glide...but now i have to run n/a for my class.


all below runs are on 29.5 slicks,4.10 gear

i have 2 converters to choose from,i have only ran them behind a conv head 565 with a 300hp kit..i think in the 1200hp range..ran 5.52 at 128.

1st converter..9.5 ptc,went 5000 on the brake,flashed to 6000 with the nitrous,shifted at 7300 and fall back was around 6100.

2cd converter..either a 9 or 9.5 edge brand...went 5500 on the brake,i think it flashed around 6500,it was a little to loose on the nitrous which makes alot of torque..shifted at 7200 and crossed at 6860..

i know i need to order the right converter but i have to use one of these this weekend to make a race..which should i choose?

plan to shift around 7400

1/8 mile racing only...at 3310lbs

Use the 5500 if you are going to run N/A. It will be a lot better with the Glide being the looser of the two. Is this 1/8 mile?
yes lenny its 1/8 only...and i edited part of my first post above this one

Not to hijack ur thread but when you order a converter give lenny a call i have a converter i paid lots of coin for and got tired of sending it back to the other company so i sent it to lenny even though its not his converter he takes the time to listen and discuss whats needed and what we want So props to lenny

will stick the loose one in...and after some data i plan to give lenny a call.thanks for the advice.
