Alluminum headed BBC. 255lbs seat and 633 open spring presure. Solid roller cam 260-266 and .730-715 lift. I dont think I need a girdle want your opinions. I have Harland sharp rockers that will be reused from last Hyd roller combo this is the bigest cam ever for me thats reason for asking. I realize this can be added at any time

Put a girdle on it. Any combo that I do that isn't bone stock or have shafts gets one. The rocker studs move around a lot even with stock springs. There will be a significant amount of stud flex without them.

Yes use a girdle. Also make sure the heads do indeed have the correct length rocker studs in them.

When changing cam and lifters also verify the correct rocker geometry again , you may need to alter the pushrod length to make it right again. Lifter pushrod platform height as well as base circle difference will change it in a heartbeat.

And BTW I have a used Crane BBC girdle set up for $150
