Old style NHRA P/S chassis (1994) going in for updating.
All new hardware, all new fire bottle mounting, all new computer, all new wiring, new shocks, new struts etc etc.
Went from the 500 incher for P/S to a A/PM set up and worked well enough as a single frame rail.
Planning to pull all the N2O and just run a 700" NA combo for T/S.

Obviously much more HP & torque than it was designed for in 1994 thinking.
Would now be the time to consider a double frame rail upgrade??
Already upgraded to carbon fiber from the fiberglass it was built with in 1994.

I know it's old pipe, but it's all mine, and I earned every nickle of it, so don't want to change cars now.
I know, old & stubborn.
Yes I would prefer something cooler like a Vette or GTO, but again, she's all mine.

Any thoughts on a major project like this I might not have considered??
