Whatever he is up to I wish him all the best. He gave us some stellar racing while he was at it. Him and Steve Petty were a formidable team every time they went to a race.

Just messin with yall...TIM IS HAPPILY RETIRED AND AS FAR AS I KNOW HE HAS NO PLANS TO RETURN TO DRAG RACING...I BELIEVE HE BUILT A GARAGE AND IS DOING ODD PROJECTS...

Hung out with him and his mate Billy on and off over the weekend of Orlando 2005, had the SBF Windsor in the mustang and won Outlaw 10.5. Seemed like a nice guy,
considering he put up with a bunch of hard drinking Aussies over the weekend and never told us to fuck off is saying something... haha.

Hung out with him and his mate Billy on and off over the weekend of Orlando 2005, had the SBF Windsor in the mustang and won Outlaw 10.5. Seemed like a nice guy,
considering he put up with a bunch of hard drinking Aussies over the weekend and never told us to fuck off is saying something... haha.
Tim is a good guy. Was at local track years ago , saw him take some grudge money from some guys. That was in his street car, Turbo car of course. You had to there for that one, it was fun to watch. I think he hurt a few crotch rockets on the Atlanta by-pass. (I-285) . Little fox body mustang. I think he eventually wrapped that one around a telephone pole in a parking lot.[/URL][/IMG]![]()

It would be cool to see him racing again (especially 10.5). I miss the days of him, richard sexton and chuck ulsch going at it. 10.5 needs tim lynch.

Yes sir, it would. That's part of the reason I asked. I just wonder if given the right situation would Tim come back. Just like that Rocky Balboa movie when the Rock told Paulie, " I've got stuff in the basement."
I wonder if time away racing is rekindling that fire in Tim?
Maybe it's time Steve leaned in on the lap top and told Tim - " I'm gonna do this , you just hang on!" " see ya at hauler."
