I've currently got a T1i and a Rebel XT sitting in my bag, along with a few lenses and debating on what I should do with the upcoming tax monies that i'll be recieving.

My choices are to add a new/ better body or upgrade lenses.

The lenses I have right now are:
Kit lens I got w/ my XT: 18-55 non IS
70-300 Non IS F/4-5.6
50mm F/1.8

along with a 430EX II and cactus V4 wireless triggers for next season at night

I've been looking at a 7D or possibly getting a better version of my 70-300 F/4 (F2.8 with IS) , or getting another lens similar to my 18-55, to use to walk around the pits with during events or just to use as a "carry around lens"

Also, I should include I do quite a bit of low to very lost (almost pitch black) at the track, but I'm hopeing that the flash system I've got now will help out with that some at least.

Thanks,
Andrew

I'm open to suggestions, but I'd like to keep it below $1500 invested on lens/camera body.

That's been in my mind also. You can never compete with technology. It's ever changing and just gets more and more expensive.

I've been leaning towards buying a lens but not 100% yet. I want to use my brothers 70-200 F4 but haven't had a chance to use it very much.
