About to buy a motor and want to know what its power and tim potential may be..?
Its a 548 BBC
Pontiac Prostock Heads 18*
14.5-1 comp
830 lift cam
CFE Sheet metal intake
1250 Pro-system
Jesel Shaft Mounts and belt
With Crank trigger.

Power glide tranny 1.76 first Gear
PTC 3000 NITROUS Converter and gonna put 373 gear car will be ran on motor for several months before it gets a hit

1968 camaro and weighed 3400 lb race weight with SBC..Stock susp. Cal-Tracks

Exactly...what Daryl said! It sounds like the bracket race combos we built back in the late 90's and early 2000's that were very mild by today's standards . They made about 1,050-1,080 or so with the Dart single intake...so add some for the good CFE manifold . Since your buying this thing used do yourself a favor and visit a local engine shop for a dyno session , or a shop you trust...so you know whats going on with it. It's money well spent.
