My XD40 is what I carry daily. Never a hickup after thousands of rounds.

Their purchases are about CHEAP. S&W is taking a bunch of Glocks business.
One of my buds has a Glock 23, we shoot a lot and I have never saw any type of misfire. Talking about cheap, does anyone here have any experince with the S&W Sigma?

glock 10mm #20 with a 6" wolf barrel

GLOCK 20 10 AUTO
GLOCK 20
A Perfect 10
The GLOCK 20 in 10 mm provides massive
firepower. The use of the recoil-damping
GLOCK hi-tech polymer considerably reduces
recoil. With muzzle energy of 750 Joule and a
magazine capacity of 15 rounds, it is the reliable
companion on every hunt. It allows a safe and accurate
finishing shot even when hunting big game.

On duty I depend on my Sig 226 in Sig 357.

Off duty I depend on my Wilson Combat 1911 in .45.

How expensive, or how hard to find is the 10mm ammo?

One night my home burglar alarm went off for no apparent reason and the dog and I took to clearing the house room by room. I found myself holding my P226 in .40 in that instance. Seems to me that's the best way to answer the question based on life experience...

My snap judgment puts a Sig in my hand over my Glock...

Early second-gen Glock 17. It will happily chamber empty shell casings - that's how indifferent it is to bullet shape.

Ok, slightly off topic, but for those of you with pistols having a "second strike" capacity might chime in. If I get a 'click' when I expect a 'bang' with the Glock, I have no choice but to do the tap-rack-bang drill. I don't feel like I'm really any worse off for not having a second chance at an already-failed round that I'm most likely going to have to clear anyway. What about you? Do you squeeze the trigger a couple more times before initiating corrective action, or go straight to the failure drill?
