What kind of power to run these 5.0 passes in X275? Not looking for specifics on setup if you don't want to post them. Looking for general idea of total RWHP and weight. If you don't want to post feel free to PM me.
Thanks.

That's about what I had figured, but wanted to make sure I was on the right track with that.
i am pretty sure that a SBF/turbo car is gonna be making north of that....to hang with those in the front of the pack.....jmho.

What about a GT 47-88 @ 3200?
We've been 5.02 at 146 mph with a 363 ci, hi-port headed 47-88 car at 3220. The green turbo Mustang in our camp (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1BeJE3rgaI). Not sure on rwhp ... around 800 - 900 to the wheels it started wheel hopping on the dyno. Headed to Bradenton today looking for a 4.99 or faster run now that it's no longer (hopefully) blowing through the converter like last weekend at SGMP.

Been tryin' for that 4 sec pass all year! It's harder than anticipated! Went 1.21 60 ft. last weekend at SGMP, also hoping to hit 1.19 which isn't bad for a turbo car.

I went 136mph as a best with 1050rwhp @ 3400lbs as a reference.

I would think at 3150-3200, it would take about 1000-1100rwhp or so to run in the 5.ohs.

It also depends on how well your chassis works, power management, etc.
We went [email protected] with not alot of tune up in the fogger, because we were able to apply power fast. Some people need to run 140+ for that kind of ET-be it chassis or when they can bring in the power. Don't forget track conditions play a huge part in it!!
Just be safe and make around 1800+HP and be stellar at power management- you'll be all good!:p
