Okay I have a 92 Mustang LX stock suspension
should weight around 2900 or little more but 3250 with me!

SBC 408 stock block with deck plugs, valley plugs, screens, and splayed four bolt mains. Eagle 1500 hp rotator assy. JE 9:0:1 pistons, Cam Motion .68x/.65x roller camshaft, Brodix -10 heads, ported and polished with Victor EFI intake port to heads, 160lbs injectors, 90mm Accufab TB, 88mm T6 turbo, exhaust headers are 3.5 to 3" to merge pipe and charge pipe is 3.5 to intercooler and back to TB, Water to Air setup comparable to a PT1000 but may be larger, Fast XFi tuned by Dustin 11, 1.80 powerglide with brake and 8.8 rear with 3.55 gear or more maybe, will be running 275/60-15 radials

Top end came from Jackstand and he went a 9.09 at 151 in a 3650 malibu with a T4 88mm turbo with 3.50 rear gear, a turbo 400 but was in second gear then shift to high and still ran that time with 19 lbs of boost, if i remember right

Was wondering would time I should be able to run with being 400 lbs lighter with a large frame turbo, and what kind of power it should be able to make also

9.09 in the 1/4 is a 5.73 in the 1/8th per race calculator, and a 5.48 in the 1/8th with the weight difference in effect, WOW

The 5.73 would be great for real street 5.70 index in my area, hell the last thing I drove fastest was a 6.20

Let me hear all your thoughts about this build, thanks

Hard to say for sure but mid 8's would not be unheard of with that turbo without really pushing the turbo really hard.

Not worried about the quarter mile time but Dusty will have me a aggressive but very safe tune also he works magic. Looking more at the eighth mile times because it would be limited 1/4 runs. Looking at 20-25 lb range if possible but just comparing to jackstand times and weight of car. Thanks!

Also have an aluminum 502 to build also down the road for twins!!!!!!!! Yall boi!!!!!!!!

Agreed a 1500 hp assy in a 650 hp block. Dustin is a good tuner I am sure he will get it running. Be careful with the stock block.

if the block has good billet splayed mains like Program or Howards and a fill of Hardblock it will be fine as long as the tune is good

I am not going for 1500hp, hell a dart lil m starts to walk the mains at that power range. But block suppose to be good to 950hp with all the work done to it compared to other nitrous motors with more stress then my setup running 4.8x's. not asking much out of this setup but to run close to 5.70 for my local real street class if the x275 class dont take off around her.

We went 5.60's with a similiar build before it split the block. Plenty of power left in that car but the block will only hold for so long. With the weight you'll be at. I'd say 5.60-5.70 and it should live a long time.

Now guys, gearing??? 3.55, 3.73

8.8 rear, Race built 1.82 glide, 3100-3200lbs, 275 radials and maybe 28x10.5

most turbo cars are running 3.50 in a 9 inch so 3.55 is close to that but will be for the 1/8th
would 3.73 help with not pushing the car so hard or not????
