i had someone tell me once wolf ammo was junk,,,,i can get 1000 rounds for around 300.00

I just shot some this week with my Rem 700 vvs. Not as consistant as the Remington ammo I shot too, but it gets down range just fine. The Wolf did seem to smoke more than the Remmington ammo I was shooting.
The wolf works just fine in a mini-14 also.

My Savage .22 target loves that stuff. Great .22 match ammo for less than $6.00 a box.

I bought 1000 rounds of .223 monhts ago and have fired about 200 rounds through both my DPMS AR's with no problems.

Paid way to much for a few boxes last week, just because I wanted to shoot my SKS that I just got, and had 3 duds out of a box of 20. Never again. Just took delivery of 1000 rounds of Brown Bear at half the price. Fuck Wolf.

I wont shoot steel cased out of a Ar. In a bolt rifle its fun plinking ammo.

Been through more than 4,000 rounds in my AR. Had some cycling issues before I moved to the 62 gr. round, which is also quite a bit more accurate out at 300 yds. I carry a cleaning rod in my range bag as I stripped the back ridge off of the casing two times, leaving the empty shell in the chamber. As is my luck, I never had this happen again since I started carrying the rod!
I've been getting mine out of sportsmansguide.com. Just recently put in a large order for some Silverbear ammo of the same grain, as I come across it even cheaper at .27 cents per round. Haven't received it yet, so can't report.

sportsmans guide is alittle high. I know a extractor isnt a expensive or time consumeing part to replace but they were never designed to shoot it. Just my .02

absolute junk. i bought 1000 rounds for my ar and had nothing but problems... i think i killed 4 cleaning rods in 1 day with all the fucking bullets that got stuck in the fucking barrel. took the rest of that shit and tossed it. alot of rounds didnt fire, 12-15 got stuck in the barrel....
now i have heard that 22 ammo wolf sells is really good, but ill never buy any more of their junk again.

That's interesting, I found the opposite with my Rem 700 but it could have been me. The Rem UMC 45 gr was pretty accurate:
100 yrds on bench with tripod.
I'm going to strap it in the lead sled the next time I take it to the range and see if I can cover 10 shots with a penny at 100 yrds. I think the gun and the ammo can do it, but I can't without some help. But I now have a base line to work off of.
In the picture above the three shots to the left and then the two to the right have a telling sign; my heart beat. The three to the left were shot in-between beats and the two on the right I pulled on my beat by accident. The flier was just a screw-up last shot. I jerked when I fired.
