I know everyone uses a .073 jet, and I do to, but I am doing some testing on something and need to know the formula for figuring the area of (for example) 8 .032 jets and then converting that to a single jet size.

8 (.032 jets) = size single jet?

I think steve has something on his page in "his 2 cents" on this

Jet x jet= ? x 8 = ? the square root of that number would be like the single jet # if a read that right

it would be (pie r square), that would give you the area of a jet. then times 8. 8 .032 jets would = between an .084 and .085. a single .032 would have an area square of .0008042496. times this by 8 and you get .0064336 this = an .084 or .085 jet on the chart (or the total area square of 8 .032 jets. .032 =.000804
.000804*8= .00643
.00643 =about a .090 jet (.00636) .091 jet(.00650)

if your using a .024 fuel jet this is the math.

.024 x .024 x 8=x.

the sq rt. of X is your flow jet size. Thats the correct math.

John, fast jay71 is right. I was looking in the wrong box on the chart. it's a .090 or .091. By the way how did you run last week?
