I feel like everyone has that one thing they look back on and regret buying/selling. So what are they? For me I now regret buying my dually since I've found a smoking deal that just came up on one that I like better than mine. 3 weeks too late!!! Far as selling I regret selling my 67 Camaro I had growing up.

I regret buying a 1995 truck " I had to have", what a piece of shit. I regret selling my 85 S10, it was very solid and well put together.

I once had a dream that I had gotten back every car I've ever owned.

The jury is still out as to whether that was a dream or a nightmare.

Every Aussie Chrysler/Valiant Charger wreck that I cut up and then either left in the bush to rot some more or took to the dump....damn things are worth stupid money now :(

regret selling multiple old muscle era mopars. In retrospect, they'd all be north of 100K now. I'd be much more of a multi millionaire on the mopars I sold over the last 30 years.

As far as buying something, I regret nothing. I buy what I want when I need it and put a lot of thought into it before I pull the trigger. So far, it's all worked out. As for selling, I regret selling my first car which was a '69 Dodge Charger. I bought it back in 1985 and sold it a year later in 1986. Why? 'Cause it was a piece of shit! It was recently repainted when I bought it but the body was rotted out and hiding a lot of bondo. A year after buying it, the Bondo was bubbling everywhere, the timing chain went out, the 4 wheel drum brakes went out, and the tires were bald. I was 17-18 years old at the time and on my $3.35 minimum wage salary, it wasn't going to get restored anytime soon. I sold it and bought a brand new Ford Escort and drove to school in a brand new piece of shit instead of an old piece of shit. At least the brand new one never broke down so I consider that a "Win!"

If I had held onto it, today it would have been totally resomodded with a 440/6-speed pushing 550 at the wheels and mid 10's in the quarter. Yep, it would be a badass ride. But....... It was never meant to be.
