How can I keep it dry enough not to mildew my fire jacket and pants. I can keep that stuff out, but my tools are probably going to start to rust.

Leave vents open 24/7--get those covers that just bolt on top to keep rain out.

Fire suit--been doing this for years--when DONE for the day--TURN IT INSIDE OUT AND HANG UP till next event.

No mold and smells fine

If you can plug your trailer in what about putting a dehumidifier in there. Run the drain outside though a hole and let it run all the time?

I let my car sit in my trailer for almost 5 years...everything oxidized and rusted to shit. A thread like this came up before, someone mentioned leaving a standard light bulb on all the time, like a 75 watt bulb. That is supposed to be enough to keep the humidity down. I need to do something for this winter.
