on a two line jet pump, which line in the suction? the big or small line?

Big one the small one goes to the jet on the foot valve.

Generally with pumps, the one going in the face is suction and the one that comes out of the top is pressure.

Suction is usually always larger than discharge hose.

power went out for awhile and it lost prime. not having any luck. not having running water for 5 days and counting sucks major ass.

if losing prime, you probably have a bad foot valve...

do yourself a favor and change out to a submersible...I just did it at my house a few months ago and its so nice not having to worry about that anymore or having to hear that pump everytime it cycled on
