Just asking. I always thought you wanted to ballance the weight? I'm by no means a chassis expert, just trying to learn.
look at the picture of your chevelle how the drivers side is higher... it is tilting to the passenger side becuase of engine torgueing the chasiss this is creating more "weight" to be applied to the rh rear of the car.

Wouldnt an AntiRoll Bar adjustment take care of that if you dont have 50lbs to lose or move from the Right Rear:confused:

The torque rotation is actually pulling the right side of the axle up into the car and pushing the left side into the track. Some cars like to be equal weight on rear, some like weight on the right especially if they don't have an anti-roll bar, and some like the right to have less weight. I set most of the cars I work on even or as close as I can get. Then make a test hit and see what it likes.

I am a gear guy not a chassis guy so I appreciate the clarification... I will go back to my hole now... :rolleyes:

I generally set My cars even to start with too.
