Heres the question guys.I have a 315/275 car stock suspension 4th gen firebird that Im getting built and am in the process of getting the motor ready for assembly 540 twin 91 turbos to do 315 stuff.The turbos will be mounted in the front bumper.The block is the big dart m.Should I go with an aluminum block or be ok with the iron block.I guess my big question is will the extra weight really interfere with the launch ie 60 foot.I know the weight is great with the aluminum but not excited to shell out 7500 more bucks.I know the car has to weigh 3200 to 3300 pounds.

100 plus pounds off the front, yes run an aluminum block. You have plenty of weight up front with turbos anyway.

Thats the way im going aluminum block.Either New Century or CN billet.I will have a Big Dart M block 4.5 bore for sale ready for assembly soon.
