He didnt like the fact the fuel cars were running 1/8th mile. So, they DQed him from pro stock.
unless there were 16 cars alreadt quicker than him at the time, technically it is still "good enough."Went an 11.12 first round. He knows its no good so why stop?
Do you really think a 11 sec pass is going to make the 16 fieldunless there were 16 cars alreadt quicker than him at the time, technically it is still "good enough."
i hope they only DQ'd him for the round though and not the event for that.
Huh. I thought everyone was saying 1000' vs. 1320' wouldn't make a difference anyway.THE OTHER THING IS THEY HAVE TO GO OUT AND PULL THE FUEL CARS OFF THE TRACK HERE. THEY ARN'T MAKING IT TO THE RETURN ROAD.
Could they get to the end last year?the end of the track goes up hill
Don't get me wrong. I agree 100%..
It's worth wasting a few minutes now, if one of the guys need the room in an emergency later.

I think what they were saying was that it wouldn't make a difference in a no chutes, no brakes instance. You'd be slower, but likely not slow enough.I'm moking all the people from earlier threads who clearly flunked high school physics and couldn't figure out how big a difference 300mph at 1000' was compared to 330mph at 1320'.
