I have a 1979 KX250 that I might part with. It is needing total restoration as I was intending to do, but I'm buried with four others ahead of this one.

That's before the mono-shock? Probably number plates built into the rear fender? Its fuzzy that far back, I started racing in '81. Remember the Kaw's had the power, but had headshake problems too... scared the crap out of me a number of times :cool:

I don't have a 79 KX 250 but here are some shots of my 1984 KX 500 that I did a rebuff on. I think I did this 8 years ago for something to do in my new house/garage. Notice the tow rope tied around headset? When stone cold I can never kick start the beast so my friend tows me with F-150 to fire up. Once warmed up I can boot her to life.
