with all the negative media surrounding walmart, i had one of my friends tell me they REFUSE to shop at Walmart due to they're business practices. Now the Bullet seems to be very Pro American made and Pro worker, so given Walmarts track record for Chinese imports and poor treament of workers (alleged) I wonder where you all stand on Walmart and its impact on your retail shopping habits.

I worked there for 11 years. I made a VERY good living while working there. I had full health and dental,profit sharing,401k,stock program and five weeks of paid vacation. Never had my hours cut either. I got at least one raise every year,sometimes two. By the way, far as the made in china thing...do you think target and kmart's hand are any cleaner? There are actually more made in the usa products there than you would think.

Nearly every store out there now sells mostly "Made in China" stuff. It's inescapable since most US manufacturing has moved overseas so I shop where I can get what I need at the lowest price. I try to buy US made when I can but pickin's are getting slim.

Besides, does anyone really think that by not shopping there, your really gonna hurt them or make a difference??? NOT!! It's wishful thinking.

I work for them for 14 years,,, was a good place to work . until they wanted to cut out the bonus that you had work for... then it was time to go.. I have a few friends that still there... now they are cutting out the profit sharing.. I rarely shop at Walmart because I can't afford to waste money on cheap shit.I think it's funny Walmart gets villified but Kmart and Target sell the same shit you just pay more for it.The Walmart in my city was built about 7 years ago and the area has expoded with growth and the city income tax collections have skyrocketed.
