I'm running Q16 on an EFI, Gen III Hemi, 434, 15.1:1, 7000 RPM shift. VP C45 is advertised it's good to 16:1 at 100 oct. VP recommends 5 to 6% more fuel and back the timing 2 degrees at first. C45 is suppose to have twice as much oxygenated than Q.

Has anyone have any dyno or track comparisons of the two fuels?

100 Octane on a 15:1 has me nervous.....

I have a very good friend of mine that just went to the c45 from q16 on a efi 582 bbc 11deg motor he seen 35hp on the dyno over q16. The c45 is very very sensitive to timing start low and put a ton of fuel to it. I think he was about 12% more then q16 to start. This weekend he is going back to q16 to get a baseline at the track.

For my car this weekend I am trying Powermist tl137 over q16 I will find out sat if it's better or worst.

I thought Q16 was the bomb!!

35 HP gain over Q16 has got my interest up. What CR and LSA is your friend running? Percentage HP gain would be interesting..?

We are going to follow VP's guidelines, add 5 to 6% fuel over Q16 or 12% more than C16 and take out 2 degrees. Log it, read a plug, add timing back if all look OK.
