Would it be o.k. to spray up to a 250 shot with vp113 or should I go with c16? I was using crappy cam2 last time out and had good results spraying a 180 shot. I then sprayed 210 and started to see signs of detonation. I know the 113 is better than cam2 but am worried because of it being oxygenated. Would I have to tune it differently?

You will be fine on the 113. Just up your main jets 2 sizes or so. You may have to go up on your nitrous fuel pressure approx. a quarter pound or so. It will be much better than the cam2. Let me know if you need anything else.

Your fuel selection is going to be based more on the motor than just the shot you are spraying. Its a combo of both. How big is the motor, what compression is the motor, are you using a fogger or a plate unit. I am a dealer for VP and can help you choose the most efficient fuel for your set up.

I sprayed 200 last week with VP 113 and had a new best yet again. 11.26 N/A and 10.31/10.32 back to back passes with a 74 jet(200shot ). 6.25psi/925bottle Zex Perimiter Plate. MPH was 120.5 N/A and 133.6 Hosed.. A good bit of tirespin out of the hole...:( 1.60 60's spinning..

This is a 11.5:1 396SBC..stand alone nitrous setup with VP113 in both cells. I still have 10 gal of Q16, not sure if I'll NEED it but I might swap it in and try soon. Seeing as guy are making 3000+hp, I'm not sure if it's ideal for 550n/a at all...:)

Thanks VP..

That kicks ass. With the Q16 you could spray more nitrous. It has a better octane number. Maybe put the Q in the nitrous side and use the 113 on motor. Again, great job.

Yes...I went up 4 jet sizes all around. It may be overkill, I am not sure. I haven't checked plugs N/A and I don't have any wideband info yet..

My other post explained that swapping to VP113 and adding 4 jet sizes netted me a 2 tenth ET reduction basically...no other changes.

I took 4th at the last NMCA True Street event. 10.19, 10.15, 10.25 back to back passes all at 133.5+...My engine does not drive really well with VP113 and -9 plugs I found out...:)
