V-2 S trim with a 2.70 upper pulley and stock crank pulley and at 5,500RPMs only making about 5psi. It does have a CXRacing intercooler which I know is known for eating up some, but I wouldn't think I'd have to pulley this thing that hard to make 10psi. I've changed BOV and that didn't make a difference and I've also checked all the couplers... Motor is a stock bottom end 302 with a TFS H/C/I so that leaves me even more confused because the motor is small and only made 284rwhp N/A. All help is appreciated!

Either you have a boost leak or you do not have your belt tight enough and the pulley is slipping.
The boost curve was perfect, just low. So that leaves me to believe the belt is not slipping, but the boost leak is my last resort.

In my experience couplers don't leak if they're loose, they just blow off completely. There are plenty other place it'll leak though. I've had throttle body shafts that leaked at 5 psi before. In your case though you're likely looking for a bigger leak than that.

Update:
After bypassing the intercooler I saw 13psi. I bought a new Treadstone TRV-25-S intercooler, installed it and with absolutely zero other changes it made exactly 151 more RWHP. Apparently the right intercooler makes a HUGE difference LOL.

any pics of the two units ? size comparison ?

Was the old one still in good order, or damaged ?

As far as we could tell the old IC was just too small because there were no apparent damages or leaks... The size was pretty similar, except the New Treadstone piece is 3 1/2" thick vs. 3"

The Treadstone is the one that's tapered at one end while the old one (no name brand or tag on it but was told it was a CXRacing) is rectangular.

2 pass on the second pic is always going to be far more restrictive. It may have the ability to cool better...although also unlikely if too restrictive, and self defeating if it cannot flow.

This one would be a great one for Engine masters ! test a few cores.
Yeah, Not only is it a double pass but the length of the core the air has to pass thru is probably 3x longer in each direction.

2nd update:

If you see the first dyno graph and notice the dip at 5200RPMS, thats the fuel pump not being able to keep up so we cut the run short. Also, it had already made 500+ well below peak RPM so we put a bigger 3.0 pulley on it and a Aeromotive 340 pump. Well I had another dyno session Friday morning and we made 509RWHP @ 5700 and then found out that 42lb injectors are pretty much maxed out at that power level. So, gonna pulley swap again with a 3.33 and try to slow it down even more.
