Which heads flows better, the 062 or 906 casting? Im looking at doing a budget street motor for a dd. L69 305(monte SS), I read somewhere you can make around 325hp with a Comp Cams XE262H-10 cam, Victor Jr and Holley 750 carb with the L31 head. Just need to know what casting is better.

The older 906 castings is what we have been using. The 062 mexican casting seems to have a 159 intake runner and not a 170 like they advertise.

906 casting or the "Large" Bowtie Vortec casting. Witch I don't think they are making anymore. 205cc runner(?)...
They both respond well to porting and can make good power with them, on a budget.
